Meet the speakers
Jean-Baptiste Aviat is dedicated to democratizing security by developing the security products of Datadog, leveraging the unique observability capabilities of the platform. Before this, he was CTO and co-founder at Sqreen, a cybersecurity company providing an automated SaaS solution to protect web applications without traffic redirection or code modification. Protecting more than 800 companies, with 85 people, Sqreen was acquired by Datadog in April 2021. He also spent over five years at Apple, hunting security bugs, aiding developers in resolving them, and developing security measures implemented on millions of devices.
Before joining Apple, Jean-Baptiste worked as a full-stack white hat hacker for a consulting firm, where he developed numerous security tools in various programming languages. Connect with JB on LinkedIn
Robert Fernandes is a seasoned CISO and cybersecurity leader with 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology. As the founder of Salted Hash Security and the nonprofit Cyberchance, he specializes in vCISO consulting, threat exposure monitoring, and cybersecurity education. Robert has a strong background in governance, risk management, incident response, and third-party risk. Jennifer Gold is a distinguished cybersecurity leader, speaker, and advocate for strengthening public-private partnerships in critical infrastructure security. As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Risk Aperture, she specializes in safeguarding emerging technologies and critical systems against evolving cyber threats.
A recognized voice in the industry, Jennifer serves as President and Board Chair Emeritus of the NY Metro InfraGard Chapter, where she drives cybersecurity education initiatives and fosters collaboration between government agencies and the private sector. She is also a contributor to the FBI’s Space Systems and Security Working Group (S3WG), helping to address cybersecurity risks in the space domain.
Jennifer’s expertise extends to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, serving as a founding member of the National AI and Cybersecurity ISAO. She also volunteers with the USMC Cyber Auxiliary and is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, sharing insights on cybersecurity innovation and risk management.
With a career spanning senior leadership roles in the financial sector, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) positions, Jennifer has led major technology transformation initiatives and modernized security frameworks to protect global financial systems.

Umesh Shankar is a Corporate VP in Microsoft AI, focused on building systems to ensure privacy in the age of AI. He was previously a Distinguished Engineer at Google and Chief Technologist for Google Cloud Security, working on cross-cutting initiatives such as the application of AI to security and securing AI. Before that, Umesh started the Data Protection effort at Google, building foundational security and privacy infrastructure that keeps user data safe across all Google’s products.
